Atsur Partners with Nigerian National Gallery
Under this new agreement, Atsur will work with the National Gallery to digitise 3000 masterpieces, making it more accessible and organised for audiences worldwide.
ABUJA, 4 February 2025 - Atsur Technologies Ltd ("Atsur"), a leader in art authentication and blockchain technology within the African art market, has partnered with the Nigerian National Gallery of Art (NGA) to enhance the management and global accessibility of Nigeria's rich artistic heritage.
Under the partnership agreement, Atsur will develop a detailed system to catalogue and manage the National Gallery of Art's (NGA) vast collection. This system will help accurately track, organise, and retrieve digital assets, making the gallery's resources easily accessible for research, education, and public engagement.
Atsur will also set up a secure API to provide public access to selected works, boosting global visibility and appreciation of Nigerian art. This initiative will enable audiences worldwide to explore and engage with Nigeria's cultural heritage. The partnership will be highlighted through targeted media campaigns and events, aiming to increase public recognition and foster a deeper appreciation of Nigeria’s cultural heritage both locally and globally.
